Rain Screen Cladding

Scope Design Rainscreen Cladding Installation

Rainscreen cladding provides an exterior surface – a cladding layer – that stops the force of wind-driven water, preventing it getting through small breaches in the surface of a building. By the time the water reaches the ‘true’ exterior wall, it has lost its drive and therefore its ability to penetrate the wall, hence the name: rainscreen cladding.

Scope Design UK’s engineers are highly experienced in the installation of both new or over-clad systems. Rainscreen systems are a cost effective way to externally clad a building whether new build or refurbishment due to the speed of installation and low on-going maintenance costs. Rainscreen technology allows for channels that are integrated into the system to drain rainwater and condensation water out behind the cladding surface in order to protect the structure or building from poor weather conditions.
